Coach Stop Inn is conveniently located on 1.4 pastoral acres in Bar Harbor, approximately 1 1/2 miles to a public beach, 4 miles from the main entrance to Acadia National Park, 5 miles from downtown attractions, and a scenic 15 - 20 minute drive to the other coastal villages in the area.

Cricket Road

We are finding most GPS units don't recognize our address for some reason. However, if you enter Cricket Road, Bar Harbor you will find us perfectly. Cricket Road is a private road directly after our driveway.

Driving Directions

The fastest approach from points south is via Interstate 95 to Bangor. Take route 395 at exit 182A to Route 1A. Follow Route 1A to Ellsworth. From Ellsworth, take Route 3 toward Bar Harbor. After passing the Bar Harbor Airport on the left hand side and Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound on the right hand side you will cross a small connector bridge and causeway onto Mt. Desert Island. The township of Bar Harbor begins here. There is a traffic light at this small bridge with “Parkadia Exxon in front of you. Bear left at this traffic light and follow Route 3 for 3.8 miles. Coach Stop Inn is on the left side with a long white picket fence in the front. Parking is in the back of the building, and check in is in the front of the building.

From ferry to Nova Scotia, (CAT Ferry) turn right onto Route 3. The Inn is located on the right side of the road, approximately 5 miles from the ferry.
